NiS leadership has over 25 years of Acquisition

NiS is led by a senior management team that is responsible for creating, cultivating, implementing and directing the vision for the Company’s growth. As the outward face of the company, the management team will be the interface to our clients, strategic partners, agency and company points of contacts.

NiS leadership has over 25 years of Acquisition and Total Lifecycle Management experience supporting DOD 5000 program efforts within the intelligence federal space. This experience includes full life-cycle product support execution and resource planning while establishing and maintaining performance-driven agreements between the end-users’ goals and objectives. NiS understands the Team approach to achieve cross-functional efficiencies that provide improved customer service while supporting the end-user.

NiS Leadership’s experience as Program Managers, Support Staff and Recruiters have a combination of specific experience that helps identify talent to support the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community.

ERIC W. NELSON

Eric has over 25 years of experience supporting agencies such as the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity, and military missions performing both technical and management functions. Over 15 of these years is experience in increasing responsibility as program/project manager. In 2011, Eric retired from the United States Marine Corps as a Master Intelligence Analysis Officer with extensive experience All-Source Intelligence Fusion, Geospatial Intelligence and Strategic planning experience. A certified Program Management Professional who also holds a Program Management Level II Acquisition Certification from the Defense Acquisition University, a Master Instructor Certification from the Navy and Marine Corps Intelligence Community, a Bachelors in Business Administration and a Master’s of Science in Management/Acquisition & Contract Management.

Jeffery Polzin

Deputy Chief Operations Officer

As the Deputy Operations Manager for Nelson Intelligence Solutions, Jeff is committed daily to ongoing business development, staffing, office infrastructure, program oversight and project specific training and development. Jeff is a GIS professional with 25 years of combined experience in project management, ground and aerial surveying, data acquisition and dissemination in both CONUS and OCONUS environments. He has over 20 years of experience working on DoD/IC contracts involving all capacities of GIS data collection, analysis, and distribution. Jeff has 5 years of OCONUS Site Operations Management and flight operations within multiple theaters of operation. He specializes in producing both electronic and physical GIS products for warfighters, engineers, and planners in both military and civilian roles and is attuned to the necessity for customized deliveries with critical deadlines. He graduated magna cum laude in design and drafting and holds a separate certificate in Photogrammetry. Jeff’s goal is to always improve technics and efficiency while delivering the highest quality intelligence products possible.

Belinda Nelson

Facility Security Officer

Belinda has over 30 years of experience in Human Resources and Personnel Security supporting agencies as the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, the Defense Counterintelligence and Intelligence Agency and the Joint Chiefs of Staff (Pentagon). Retiring in 2013 from the United States Army as a Human Resources Manager, Belinda currently holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management (Concentration in Organization and Human Resource Development), Master of Arts in Criminal Justice, Bachelor of Science in Social Psychology and an Associate in Liberal Arts.

Kareem Moody

Moody has a unique distinction in the state as a long time youth violence prevention advocate and the father of Moses Moody, the first (1 year) and done basketball player at the University of Arkansas, and heralded as the player who led the team to an historic elite 8 NCAA tournament showing.

Twenty Five plus (25) + years of experience working in the local community building strategic relationships and facilitating collaboration with public, private, non-profit community stakeholders.

A motivational speaker, consultant, and past director of a federally funded initiative designed to retain students to graduation on the campus of Pulaski Technical College in Little Rock Arkansas. Founding and managing director secured through two grant cycle re-awards (7yrs) of federal title III retention/success initiative funds awarded to the college.

Hunter Crockett

GIS Technical Team Lead

Hunter Crockett is the Technical Team lead for our Arkansas Office. Supporting the Arkansas production efforts. Hunter graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a double major in Geography and Public Administration. Shortly after graduating, Hunter accepted a position as a Geospatial Analyst at NiS before being promoted to Technical Team Lead. Hunter has a wealth of experience using a variety of GIS Software, most extensively ArcGIS. While at NiS, Hunter has worked on contracts involving vertical obstruction production, topographic data store conditioning, and DNC to ENC conversion. Hunter is currently attending a graduate program at the University of West Florida for Geographic Information Science Administration.

10 yrs as Program Director for one the state’s most celebrated non-profit Youth programs (PARK) with emphasis on program design, donor communication, supervisor/ management, and fundraising.

Certified Process Communication model facilitator (PEM, PCM)

A Published author, with additional training in email marketing and online content production. Developing media relationships and tools, convening community meetings, and offering presentations to publicize, promote, and generate community awareness efforts.
